1000X is about sublimation.
We live in a time of hyper design, one in which we are bombarded with overly glossy images which have been commissioned by various entities to represent them. It is getting increasingly difficult to decipher which messages are genuine and which are deceiving, as these advertisemets usually sublimate the actual product/service/corporation into aesthetically pleasing imagery.
1000X is a piece which sublimates subject matters usually shunned by society into a polished, minimal sculpture. The artwork is as different from the original as advertisements are distant from their originating corporate entities.
